A big thank you goes out to these two for all their help.
The pictures within the panels were all very good. The trees look a little stubby but the ponies themselves were almost perfect.
I thought the garden path structure was interesting, but people do it often in comics now (I dunno the everyday term for them, we call them Garden Path Stories in Linguistics because they take you down the garden path, and then cause you to realize that your preconceptions from the beginning of the story were 100% wrong like the movie Inception or Now You See Me, or the clip in American Dad where Roger tells everyone about when he was a race car driver and swerves to avoid a baby, and then says "I was that baby").
Overall it was very good work.
CMCs getting their cutie marks: Check
Wait, no! Don't break it! There will be plenty of opportunities to get yourself killed trying to get your cutie mark!
Oh, what a waste...
But seriously, who the hell sells a gravestone to a child? Especially their own gravestone.
I love it so much xD
the best pony comic I've seen this week! seriously!
Heh! I can see a very good practical joke with this!
Say... Scootaloo were to purposefully dissapear for about a week. The CMC put that headstone somewhere in the cemetery, then they take Rainbow Dash to said cemetery saying there was something really important that she needed to see. Then they show her the headstone! I can just see her reaction:
Personally, I wanna see the CMC remain blank flanks for as long as possible because that's what makes those fillies entertaining. Their funny misadventures really adds to the show's flare! Take that away, and it won't be the same, IMO. :/
