Captain William Fredrickson

Fredrickson is a character from the sharpe series of books. He is a captain in the 60th rifles Regiment or the Royal American rifles. This was a regiment formed in the 13 colonies in 1755 as the royal american regiment. They were later Joined with a German regiment and were fitted out with the new Baker Rifle, to for the 60th rifles. Fredrickson is a fictional character who according to back story was on the receiving end of a explosive shell which lost him the use of his left eye. A musket ball broke his jaw and stuck the sneer on for free. He has false teeth curtsy of a few dead Frenchmen and his hair belonged to a horse. But in a fight he is a terrifying figure and uses it to scare his enemy's.

His cutie mark represents his love for architecture. A good quote from the book was when they captured a french officer and his men wanted to fillet him. Fredrickson stopped them when he found a book showing different drawings of Spanish churches and cathedrals. he said not to kill him as he wanted to chat to him. His nickname in the rifles is Sweet William. He is a kind soul but never one to cross.
